Mojitos In Miami

Miami is famous for its Mojitos - a tradition brought over from Cuba - this legendary drink is said to help you cool off- either way - it tastes great!

Here's the recipe

1.25 oz spiced rum
12 fresh mint leaves 0.5 oz lime juice
2 oz soda
1 tbsp sugar


Place mint leaves in bottom of glass. Add crushed ice, Rum, sugar, and lime juice, and muddle. Add soda water and garnish with mint leaves.

The Miami International Agriculture & Cattle Show

The Miami International Agriculture & Cattle Show brings cattle breeders and buyers from all over the world. Events include horse shows, rifle and handgun shooting competitions, and cattle shows.
The general public is welcome to attend and enjoy the shows, plus arts and crafts vendors, food for sale, live bands, and more. Kids will enjoy the mechanical bulls, hamster water rides, bounce houses and other activities.

The show runs April 12-14, 2013 at the Ronald Reagan Equestrian Center at Tropical Park. The address is 7900 S.W. 40 Street in Miami.

Coming April 25-28 will be the Miami Beach Polo World Cup .This international polo tournament will bring teams from around the world to compete as part of the Miami Beach Polo World Cup.
